ASEAN Scientists Trained to Track Wildlife Criminals
Government scientists from ASEAN, together with colleagues from Africa, Europe and South America, finish a two week special training course today on tracking wildlife criminals, put on by a US Federal Law Enforcement Laboratory.
 
 

Law enforcement officers from two provinces in central Vietnam yesterday completed a week-long Forest and Wildlife Law Enforcement Study Tour of Cambodia, organized by WWF Vietnam and PeunPa, a member of the Wildlife Alliance.

Five major seizures in recent weeks is evidence of heightened wildlife law enforcement in Southeast Asia and has put wildlife smugglers on notice – illegal exploitation of ASEAN’s natural resources and biodiversity will not be tolerated.
